Ionithermie FAQ

What is Ionithermie?
The Ionithermie process involves the application of warm, active thermal clay infused with healing algae to the treatment area. Electrodes applied to the clay deliver gentle, galvanic electrical impulses, which encourage the clay’s ingredients to penetrate the skin and emulsify fat deposits, flush the toxins, and tone your muscles. Ionithermie is a great addition to your diet and exercise efforts—perfect for a last minute boost before a vacation, a special event, or after a period of indulgence!

How many Ionithermie treatments will I need?
For preliminary detoxification and immediate loss of inches, we recommend one to three treatments. The results will be visible after just one treatment.

What areas can be treated with Ionithermie?
At BlushLa, we can reduce cellulite on hips, thighs, bums, tums, and arms.

What can I expect during my Ionithermie treatments?
The area to be treated is covered in warm clay into which we place the electrodes. When the machine is turned on at a low level, you will begin to feel a warming sensation and a contraction in the muscle.

How long will the results last?
Individual results may vary. Results can last up to one week after your treatment. BlushLA  recommends  at-home products to maintain and prolong the results of your ionithermie treatment.

Is Ionithermie for women only?
No, many men also use Ionithermie to tone their abdominals and lower chest muscles. And many athletes, both men and women, use Ionithermie to relieve sports-related injuries and muscle aches and pains.

Contraindications: As with all electrical treatments, ionithermie is not recommended for individuals with pacemakers or epilepsy; pregnant  or lactating women; or those with copper iuds or metal plates/ pins in the immediate area for treatment.
